Our Philanthropy

SeriousFun Children's Network

Community service is extremely important to the Delta Kappa Alpha Professional Cinema Society at large. At the Omicron Chapter, we are no exception.

DKA has a philanthropic relationship with SeriousFun Children’s Network. The philanthropy, founded by Paul Newman, one of our alumni, helps support children with serious illnesses to experience the simple joys of life through a community of independently owned summer camps across the world.

As a chapter, we have several fundraising events that contribute towards our annual donation to SeriousFun. These include: SeriousComedy, our stand up comedy show; the DKA Haunted House; and “Pie a DeKA!”.
